This class is by invitation only.
The Harold is the signature long form of Chicago's venerable iO (formerly Improv Olympic) theater. Group work is at the heart of all great entertainment today and The Harold is a structure that makes improvised art that much more accessible.
Led by an improviser who studied with the people who created the form, this intensive will focus on openings (where we source our content for the show), group games (where we expand on those themes and ideas discovered through openings) and, of course, solid scenework.
This four-week class will take place on Sundays, April 5th to April 26th from 12-3pm at 846 Broughton Street.
This class will include a group performance at Harold Night on Thursday, April 30th.
