Longform Conservatory is an eight-week program for experienced improvisers that combines high-level improv training with a weekly performance slot at the Garden City improv jam. Through advanced scene work and coaching, you'll develop the ensemble skills and instincts needed to be a part of a longform team at Garden City Improv.
The July/August/September session of the Longform Conservatory will be taught by Dan Bakkedahl (Second City Chicago, iO Theatre, The Daily Show, VEEP, Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Kevin Matviw (The Second City, Just For Laughs Toronto), and will be focused on the Armando and Harold longform formats.
July 28 to August 18 - The Armando with Dan Bakkedahl
August 25 to September 1 - No Classes
September 8 to September 29 - The Harold with Kevin Matviw
