Musical Improv 201 with Kevin Matviw is for graduates of Musical Improv 101 who are looking to take their skills to the next level! Using a combination of shortform and longform improv, students will learn how to:
Strengthen their rhyming skills
Elevate songs with wordplay
Use song structure to explore character and point of view
Create a half-hour, fully improvised musical
Whether you’re belting out a solo or jumping into an ensemble number, you’ll build confidence, expand your knowledge of musical structure, and discover how much fun it is to let your voice lead the way.
