This class is by invitation only.
This four-week course is designed for intermediate to advanced improv students ready to explore and hone their comedic and narrative improv skills. We will tackle exercise-based skill development but also diagnostically work through improv scenes and longer, connected narratives. Plainly: we get up on our feet, improvise, reflect and grow. Focus will be put on play, risk and working connective narrative tissue from participants' active and inactive brainpower.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Becky Johnson is a veteran of the Canadian comedy and theatre scene with over 30 years experience. She is an alumna of the Toronto Second City Mainstage. She has created and toured her original improvised and scripted works internationally, bringing her voice in improvisation to stages in New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Vienna, Berlin and many more.
